2019-2020 Year 3

1-6-20

Hi Year 3,

I hope you all had a fantastic half term. For the next couple of weeks we are going to be looking at ‘Mr Penguin and the Lost Treasure’. If you like adventure and mystery you are going to love these books by Alex T Smith. He is an author and illustrator. His pictures are fab.

Thanks again to all those parents and children who have posted some fabulous work. I have read some amazing designs and seen some great explanations. The junk models have been brilliant. Watch the video to see some of the highlights from last week before half term. Keep your fabulous pieces of work coming Year 3. I look forward to see what superb pieces of work your create this week.

This week we are posting some more school learning activity ideas for you to complete at home: 3 English, 3 Maths and 1 topic task- but remember these are for the whole week ahead- you don’t need to do them all or do them all at once. Just do the ones your parents suggest.

Don’t forget that whilst we are still in Lockdown and being asked to stay at home, it’s important to stay active and maybe go outside for at least an hour of maybe walking or running, cycling or trampolining.

Bye for now,

Mr Walker Class Teacher
