Isleham Primary welcomes Polar Explorer Ellen Bazeley-White

On Tuesday 30th October, Year 1, 2 and 6 were delighted to welcome Ellen Bazeley-White to the school to speak about her work in Antarctica for the British Antarctic Survey research stations. Ellen brought the children a range of photographs and artefacts to explore in order for them to find out about the climate, wildlife, geography, geology and research opportunities in the Antarctic regions. We are very grateful to her for giving up her afternoon to enable the children to hear first-hand about her work in the coldest place on earth!
