Outstanding Isleham!

The children lined up in the playground on Thursday last week to celebrate the publication of our Church Schools’ Inspection report which is now available to read on our website.

Our school was graded outstanding in all areas and the inspector concluded that 'Isleham School is an exemplar of working together to achieve the best for its community.' The strong Christian values of the school were highly praised. The inspector wrote that the school is a 'welcoming Christian family community which meets the individual needs of the pupils and families it serves... Enthusiastic pupils take real joy and pride in their learning together and achieve well. This is because the dedicated team in this church school are committed to nurturing pupils' personal and academic development.'

The inspection report (in the 'Key Information' section of the website) also celebrates the good partnership between church and school and emphasises that 'the distinctiveness and effectiveness of Isleham as a Church of England school are outstanding.' The staff, Governors and children could not be more proud.

Thank you to everyone who contributes to making this such a wonderful place to work and learn.
