Who are we?

One of this school’s key strengths is the well supported Parent & Teacher Association.  By having children at the school you are automatically a member of the PTA.

Our committee is made up of parents and carers whose primary aim is to raise money for our children's school.  We also hold social events for pupils and/ or parents throughout the year.

As the school budget becomes increasingly restricted our fundraising efforts become more essential, not just for the extras, but also for everyday school equipment.

Parents, carers and family members are all welcomed here at Isleham, and becoming an active PTA member is one of the many  ways that you can support your child’s education.

The PTA meets regularly each term and meetings are open to anyone with an interest in the school – you don’t need to be committee member or helper to attend meetings.

How do we raise money?

The PTA organise a number of events throughout the year:

  • Christmas Fair
  • Summer Concert
  • Quiz night
  • Cake sales

We also organise the end of year disco.

During the 2018-19 academic year.over £7500 was raised for the school.

How can I help?

We really appreciate any support you are able to give. New faces and new ideas are especially welcome.  Joining the committee is a good way to meet other parents whilst organising events.

If you are not able to join the committee you can join our helpers list.  As part of the helpers list you get an e-mail of what events are happening, you can choose which if any you are able to help with.

Please complete the sign-up form below if you would like to get involved this year.

Of course, you can also support our events by just attending and contributing to the fundraising.

For more information please contact the school office so that you can be put in touch with the current committee members

Committee members for 2018-2019.

September update 2019:

Hello! Thank you so much to those who came to our AGM last week. Your support is very much appreciated. We are pleased to announce the PTA committee for this year will be as follows: Kerry Piccaver and Catherine Judkins (Co-Chairpeople), Tracey Minshull (Treasurer) and Nicola Espley (Secretary). We would like to say a huge thanks to Lara Kinnett, who stepped down from her Co-secretary role, for her fundraising efforts last year. Without her hard work and enthusiasm, along with that of the rest of the committee, teaching and support staff, governors and parent helpers, we would not have been able to have raised the amazing total - £7800 - that we did last year.

We are sure your children are already making use of the outdoor play equipment in the Reception play area, as well as the classroom smart screens and cookery items, etc. that we were able to buy with this money.

We have our first open meeting on TUESDAY 24th SEPTEMBER at 3.30 pm in the library. This meeting is to start making plans for the Christmas Fair. We will need as many parent helpers as possible to make this event a success.  Please do come along to the meeting with any ideas/suggestions you may have or to let us know your availability if you are able to help. There will be jobs that need doing in the run up to the Fair (e.g. gift wrapping, collecting raffle prizes etc), as well as jobs on the day (e.g. setting up, running a stall, serving BBQ, packing down, etc.).  If you can't make the meeting, please message us using the PTA facebook page/drop us an email at or just find us at school drop off/pick up and let us know how you would like to be involved. We look forward to hearing from you.
