Staff Vacancies

We currently have a vacancy for a relief lunchtime & classroom assistant who would be willing to support the children in any age range in our school either in the classrooms or at lunchtime when needed, providing cover for existing staff and supporting our staff team and children throughout the school.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to work on an occasional basis as needed with our children in the classroom under the guidance of a Class Teacher, or at lunchtimes supported by our Lunchtime Supervisor and existing staff.

The successful applicant will need to:
*Enjoy working with children of all age groups, and adaptable to work across the primary age range as needed, with groups, classes and individual children
*Have excellent interpersonal skills and be a good team player
*Be supportive of the school’s policies and procedures
*Be willing to carry out a range of duties including preparing resources, supporting in class, and at lunchtimes in the playground & dining hall
*Be flexible to work on an occasional basis, sometimes at short notice to cover staff absence

Previous experience in this role is not essential but flexibility is essential; this role would suit someone living locally to Isleham, who is adaptable in terms of working in school on an occasional basis, sometimes at short notice.

A set hourly rate of £10.43 per hour is offered for this role. (Please note that this is a zero hours contract, and hours will only be offered as and when required to cover staff absence)
