September 2022

The role of being a House captain in Year 6, was a tightly fought battle with lots of the children deciding to share their speech and ideas about why they should receive a vote.  The houses gathered together and listened carefully to the husting speeches and then voted for the child that they felt would be the best for the position.  This element of fairness is one of the school's Christian value of 'Justice' so that all are equal and have an opportunity.

The votes were made and the number for each candidate was counted.  There were some very excited Year 6 children who were named as the house captain, and some others who were very gracious in their defeat.
