Learning about the Festival of Sukkot

What a great way to learn about a world faith that has links to Christianity!  Over the day, the children worked in their house teams and moved between 4 activities.  They learned about how a Sukkah is used during the Sukkot festival, how the synagogue separate the seating for men and women, that the windows in a synagogue are decorated with images of plants and not of people.
