Perfect Pets!

We were so fortunate to welcome a range of well-behaved pets to school on Friday 1st July in school. Many thanks to pet owners Mrs Davison, Mrs Gardella, Ms Taylor, Mrs Tilbrook & Teagan for bringing the pets along. The children had the opportunity to meet Oreo the rabbit, James the tortoise, Bertie, Buddy and Dougie the dogs, Duckie the chicken, 2 rats, 2 stick insects, a giant millipede and a corn snake. What a treat! Even those who were slightly wary of the creatures to start with said hello and every creature was fantastically polite and they all appeared to enjoy their morning in school!

The children created some amazing artwork on a pet theme, which was displayed at the Isleham Gala, and also brought in wonderful pictures of their own pets. We have thoroughly enjoyed seeing photos of all your family pets. Thank you to everyone who sent in photos.

On Saturday 2nd July, we welcomed even more pets (-well, children dressed as animals and pets anyway!) to the Isleham Gala Pet Parade walking float. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the parade. There was a great atmosphere and over £100 was raised for the PTA through the donation buckets carried.
