The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

The children at Isleham Primary School had a wonderful time finding out about and celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in the week before the summer half term holiday.
A sponsored Danceathon event took place ar the school, and children dressed in red, white and blue clothing for this on the last day of half term and performed their dances for parents on the school field. A picnic lunch was also enjoyed by the whole school.
The children were pleased with their ‘Queen Elizabeth’ celebration books from the DfE, and the commemorative wooden pendants provided by Isleham Parish Council to help them remember this historic event.
Thank you to all involved and to all who helped raise funds for our school PTA which helps to heat and maintain the school swimming pool throughout the summer season.
