Headteacher's Welcome

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Isleham Church of England Primary School. You should find everything you need to know about our school on this website. We are here for you and your child and we warmly invite you to contact us concerning any aspect of school life or if you require any further information about our school.

Our dedicated and highly committed staff team focus on making our school a safe and secure learning environment where children feel confident to try out new skills. We believe that our children should not only reach their best academically, but also develop a love for life long learning and understand the importance of resilience when faced with a challenge. This helps all of our children to 'Let their light shine' (Matthew 5:16). Our staff ensure that the curriculum engages and excites all of the children whilst also allowing them to make the most of our fantastic outdoor area. The children at Isleham are happy learners, who work hard to achieve highly.

Isleham is a caring and inclusive school, where every child is supported to achieve their best. We believe that the ‘home school’ partnership is an essential part of our commitment to success. We see teachers and parents as partners working together to enable all children to reach their potential.

Isleham lies at the heart of the community and we positively encourage volunteers, whether parents, grandparents or other community members to come in to help out in school whether on a regular basis or otherwise.

We have an active School Council as well as Junior Travel Ambassadors who are involved in making many important decisions over the course of the year.

Our highly motivated team of parents known organise a wide range of exciting events across the year, raising funds to support current school projects.

By the end of Year 6, children leave our school ready to face the excitement and challenges of secondary school. They are confident to take responsibility for their own learning, develop new relationships, and have a positive attitude to school life.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. Visits to our school are always welcomed.
