Year 1 Spring 2025-26

Welcome to Year One at Isleham C of E Primary School!

In Year One we continue each childs learning jouney and build on the foundations that have been set in the Early Years. We look forward to sharing all of our learning with you. 

Meet Our Team:

  • Mrs. Clayton-Smith is the Year One Class Teacher on a Monday and Tuesday. 
  • Ms. Eatock is the Year One Class Teacher on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
  • Mrs. Minshull is our wonderful 1:1 Support Assistant. 
  • Miss. Taylor will be covering Mrs Clayton-Smith's PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time on a Tuesday afternoon from 2:20-3:20pm and Thursday afternoon from 2:00-3:20pm.  

Our PE lessons will be on Wednesdays and Fridays. Children can come to school dressed in their school PE kits on these days.

The Year One reading practice sessions are timetabled in on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Children should bring their reading and reading record books to school every day. Reading books will be changed each Wednesday. 

We visit the school library on a Friday afternoon. Please remember to bring your library books in to change them!
